Plain-language summary.
What we store
When you create an account we store your email address, display name, handle, avatar URL and — if you sign in with Discord — your Discord user ID and username. We also store the crews, comments, votes and battle logs you submit, along with your reputation total.
How we use it
Your display name, handle, avatar, rank and submissions are public — that is the point of the site. Your email address is never shown publicly and is used only for authentication and password resets.
Who we share it with
Nobody. Authentication, database and hosting run on Google Firebase, and product analytics run on PostHog. Both process this data on our behalf. We don't sell data and we don't run third-party ad trackers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase and PostHog to understand which pages and features are useful. They record page views, device information and the actions you take on the site — creating a crew, voting, commenting — plus the terms you type into the search box, so we know what people come here looking for.
While you are signed in, PostHog events are linked to your account ID along with your handle, display name, rank and reputation. Your email address and password are never sent to it, and neither is the text of a crew guide, comment or feedback note. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal we don't load analytics at all.
Your choices
You can edit or clear your profile details at any time from Settings. To delete your account and submissions, contact us and we'll remove them.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so you stay signed in — HttpOnly, expires after 14 days, not used for tracking. Analytics adds a first-party cookie that holds a random ID so repeat visits can be recognised as the same browser. Neither is shared with advertisers.
